"Pale copper in color, the 2021 Jaine Stoneridge Blanc de Cabernet Franc is an intriguing example of a white wine crafted using red grapes. Aromas of poblano pepper, black currant buds and camphor show the early picking of the Cabernet Franc, whose green notes are always present, but are more pronounced with this quick pressing of underripe fruit. The wine is broad on the palate with a palpably dry texture and flavors of jalapeño jelly, bergamot, fresh earth and rosehips.
