2021 Jaine Laura Lee Chardonnay
"The medium-straw Laura Lee Chardonnay starts floral and sweet on the nose with potpourri, lavender, honeycomb, s’mores, and a touch of sage and rock salt. The wine opens to more forward aromas of stone and orchard fruit, in addition to lemon oil, buttered popcorn, and orange peel. The mouthfeel is not as sweet as the nose, showcasing great tension and structure, all combined with a seriously long, acid-driven finish. A very dynamic Chardonnay that you can enjoy now or in the next 6 years." -Bryan Otis, Proprietor
Praise:
"Sourced from this site in the Royal Slope AVA, the wine delivers pear and apricot notes alongside baking spices on the nose. The palate is very soft and refined with baked apple, creme brûlée and copious minerals that mingle well with salty underpinnings. Enjoy over the next seven plus years. Drink 2022-2029." -92 points, Owen Bargreen, owenbargreen.com
